Meltdown

     

I first started making self portraits through the use of photography and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Media Arts with a focus in photography. My Masters field project continues my self portrait experimentation by creating animated self portraits that explore the vast dimensions of my mind. These self portraits express my innermost imaginings and fantasies melted with some of the real. It was with illustration and animation that I found a voice that I didn’t know I had before, and could express myself in a different way than was possible with photography. I plan to continue creating illustrations and animations and hope to keep growing as an artist.
